Harviglass Fibre is a GRP manufacturer in the UK. We work out of a 1600M² factory based in Hyde, Cheshire, producing GRP (fibreglass) mouldings for all industries. We create GRP for a wide range of industries such as construction, interior design, medical equipment to automotive components.

Meet the team - The people behind Harviglass Fibre
Jeff Armstrong
Business director & Co-Owner
Jeff has been in the GRP industry for over 30 years. With a methodical hands-on approach to business, Jeff has progressed through the ranks from Shop floor to Site management & is now in charge of all financial & purchasing decisions within the company as head of finance, as well as being a co-owner of Harviglass-Fibre. In his spare time, he can be found playing for his local pool team, walking the Derbyshire hills, and fishing the Shropshire rivers.
Stuart Schofield
Creative & Business Development Director & Co-Owner
After leaving school, Stuart undertook an apprenticeship in Pattern & Tool making. From there Stuart worked in every department learning the intricacies of each process involved within the manufacture of GRP. With 25 years’ experience Stuart is now the creative business director & co-owner of Harviglass-Fibre. Using his knowledge, he is responsible for creating New Product Ideas whilst keeping the company at the forefront of the industry. In his spare time Stuarts likes to follow his team Manchester City & has the implausible task of trying to lower his golf handicap.
Steve Hale
Director of Operations & Co-Owner
Steve has been in the GRP industry for over 30 years. Progressing through the ranks, Steve started life on the Shop floor as a laminator before working his way up to Production Manager & eventually Managing Director & Co-Owner of Harviglass-fibre. Day to Day to Steve likes to keep himself involved in every aspect of the business & with his hands on approach, he can be often found on the factory floor. In his spare time, he can be found taking long walks in the countryside with his faithful companion Conker.
Will Austin
Director of Sales & New Business Development, Co-Owner
Upon leaving University with a Degree in Computer Aided Design, Will took on a Graduate Sales & Design Role within the Business. Over the next 15 years he took on greater responsibilities & progressed to Higher Management. As well as Being a Co-Owner Will is the driving force behind the Sales, developing new business opportunities whilst strengthening current working relationships with long standing customers. In his Spare time, he likes to take part in Triathlon, but with 3 small Children the quest for Olympic glory is on hold!
