We recently had the privilege of collaborating with Altrincham-based Take 1 Scenic Services on a project that not only tested our capabilities but also highlighted the agility and precision of our team.

The mission was ambitious: to design and fabricate 12 GRP (Glass glass-reinforced plastic) retail counters for the esteemed Royal Welsh Show, all within a demanding timeframe.

This master pattern was essential, serving as the blueprint from which the final GRP counters would be meticulously crafted.

Traditionally, Harviglass Fibre would assume the responsibility of creating the initial prototype. However, given the time constraints and the specific vision held by Take 1, they opted to construct the master pattern themselves. This decision underscored the collaborative spirit of the project, allowing both teams to leverage their strengths in the face of tight deadlines.

Overcoming Challenges with Precision and Speed

Once the master pattern was securely in our hands, the Harviglass team sprang into action. With only two weeks to produce a durable GRP mould and 12 units of the counters, the pressure was really on. Our team, known for their expertise in handling GRP materials, worked diligently to build the mould. The production of the GRP display counters commenced immediately. True to our commitment, we met the ambitious deadline, which we feel was a testament to the dedication and skill of our team.
